Hurricane Kyle Swell Sept 2008 Delaware

These photos were taken at the beginning of the big Hurricane Kyle swell at Indian River lnlet and The Henalopen Hotel. The day started out nice and sunny, and warm but soon went downhill when the wind swtiched from being offshore to straight onshore with rain showers with heavy downpours. It was bland lighting mostly and very cloudy shooting. I wish I surfed instead. Oh well can't have everything that's forecasted right? There were a few rippers out that day but miserable shooting conditions just made me want to take cover and grab some food. Hopefully next time I shoot a hurricane swell the weather guys do a better job. yeahhhhhhhhhh im bitching, so what.
