Hawaii Gallery

Welcome to my Hawaiian Photo Gallery!

Well Honolulu is a major city and I was reminded of that everyday, sitting in traffic, just like at home to go surfing 5 blocks away. It was also very noisy in our hotel room, which was in downtown Waikiki. Once on the beaches, you didn't really care after you looked around at the palm trees and went swimming in the warm, clear aqua blue water. The reefs are awesome to experience, and to be snorkeling, surfing or swimming around them was pleasant experience! I miss the warm clear water, and the great waves. I got the longest rides of my life on the south shore of Oahu. The price of those long rides , is the long paddle to get out to the breaks. I have never paddled that far in my life to surf . I was worried about localism against tourist surfers in the water, but everyone was pretty cool. (I only had one guy say something to me in the water). Which nothing happened, cause I ignored him!

Well, I tried to get some nice photos, and some Island Aloha. I also met some pretty cools locals that were really nice and offered me some food, and cold beers after surfing. I drank, and played horseshoes a couple times with the locals when I was there. It was real treat. I also got to take a tour of the whole island, except the west-side of Oahu. If you get the chance to go, remember to leave the bad attitudes at home when surfing, because there are a lot of big tattooed locals who like to surf with only their friends. Bring some extra cash, because they import almost everything to the Islands, which makes everyday things cost more. Go with some friends and just have fun.

Mahalo!
