The Road to Harpers Ferry, WV and Beyond

These were taken from various locations across the Northern VA and West Virginia countryside. The notable being the historic location of Harpers Ferry, WV. Other photos were taken out Middleburg and Upperville, VA. I really didn't really luck out with catching the leaves when they were at their peak, but I did try to capture the late afternoon warmth and color. It seems to happen every year that the best times to take photos of the fall colors for me have been when I been driving to work in the morning and see the rays of sun peaking through the colored leaves as I have to get to work.....and then I don't have my camera or when I have time to shoot photos on the weekends it rains or the leaves aren't at peak.
