ECWC East Coast Wahine Championships 2006

These photos are from the 10th Anniversary of the East Coast Wahine Championships this past weekend in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. There were 150 female competitors from Maine to Puerto Rico  and Cali ranging in age from 19 months! to 56. Waves were small, about 1-3 feet clean conditions for the contest, and consistent and surfable for longboards and shortboards. The competitors had a good time surfing with friends and there was a good vibe in the lineup. The weather was good for the contest and only had a quick shower right before the awards ceremony. Another successful contest for the wahines. Below are a few of the photos from the contest.
