Brazil December 2004 - Rio
OI! Como vão vocês? Tudo bem? (HI! How are you? Everything good?) These photos are from my trip to Rio De Janeiro this December. I went to visit my friends Marcelo and his wife Chris that were staying down there visiting their families. I had a great time on the trip. The people were very nice and warm. It was also nice to be in 80-85 degree weather in December for a change. There was a lot of good food, drink, and beautiful scenery of all sorts down there. It was great to see the islands offshore on the beaches and the mountains in the background. I also got to visit a great historic town called Ouro Preto outside a city called Belo Horizonte, which you can tell by the old style european architecture. I have a lot of photos, and will probably do another page when I am done scanning my slides. I want to say a big thanks for my friend Marcelo, his wife and both of their families for having me stay with them and feeding me so damn well!! Muito obrigado. (Thank you very much). Well I learned a few words of portuguese to get me by too. hahaha
