2009-2010 East Coast Snowstorms

These are some photos from the Dec and February snowstorms that walloped us in the Washington DC area with record breaking snowfalls. The storms have left people stranded cold without power, it made our backs sore from shovelling, and left some with a new love/hate relationship for the white stuff. The 1st major snowstorm happened in December 19the storm with 17-26 inches reported in the DC metro area. I think we got 19inch but then were hit with a 27inch snowfall in Reston last sat and then had a another blizzard the tues after that which DC reported 32inches and then another 10.8inches for the Tues Feb 9-10th storm. Anyways a lot of snow that were not used to getting, but great local ski conditions if your a boarder or skiier.Hope we don't get any more snow for a while.
